Christmas is coming up, meaning even more seasonal flavors at your favorite coffee shops. This year, Scooter’s Coffee has launched a new Christmas theme, “Candy Land.” For this launch, they brought out 8 new items that’ll get you through the cold holiday months!
“Mr. Mint”
- The first time I tried this drink I got it with the White Mocha instead of the normal Mocha, and it was so good, I almost prefer it that way. The flavoring of the peppermint and white mocha was so strong, yet subtle enough that I couldn’t taste the espresso. I definitely would recommend this for the people who want that minty Christmas drink and the caffeine but don’t want that overpowering espresso taste!!! (However, the original mocha and mint drink is just as delicious!)
“Mr. King Cake Bite”
- Going into this, I was a little questionable because of the flavor profile being infused with fizzy popping candy. However, I really did enjoy this!! Surprisingly enough, I found that it tasted like the fruity pebbles cereal. With that, the presentation of the cake bite is so pretty, with white frosting with gold, pink, blue, and purple sprinkles. I do think that it is a very interesting and amazing addition to the Christmas menu, but no cake bite will ever compare to the pumpkin cheesecake bite.
“Queen Frostine” Sugar Cookie
- Similar to the Courage cookie from last month, Scooters has the Queen Frostine sugar cookie for Christmas! The cookie was very similar in taste, despite the pretty blue sprinkles and an even better taste profile!
“Queen Frostine Sugar Cookie Latte”
- This drink has got to be one of, if not my favorite drink off of the Christmas menu. The White mocha and cookie butter flavoring of this drink has completely got me in a chokehold and doing cartwheels. I have always been a huge fan of sugar cookie latte and it’s the drink that I always recommend to people who are unsure of what they want! I just really think there is no way that you can go wrong with it.
“Gramma Nutt Latte”
- This latte is perfect for if you’re looking for a Christmas drink that isn’t too sweet, it has hints of hazelnut and cinnamon brown sugar syrups that make the drink perfect for the season. Along with this, it can also be served Hot, Iced, and Blended. This is a pretty plain coffee, however, it is still a fan favorite and gives exactly what the seasonal crowd needs. As well as that, the salty toffee pieces are a great compliment to the sweetness of the Candy Land theme!
“Gramma Nutt Cold Brew”
- Similar to the latte, this is a very subtle drink for the season. However, that doesn’t change the fact that is still popular amongst the Scooters crew. The drink itself still has the same hints of hazelnut, cinnamon brown sugar. The only difference is that since it’s a cold brew, it is topped with Heavy Whipping Cream, Hazelnut Cold foam, and Salted toffee pieces. As someone who doesn’t usually drink cold brews, I almost prefer this cold brew over the latte.
“Iceberry Infusion”
- Red Bull is back at Scooters! The brand has switched over from its Scoot energy back to the energy can that we all love. I personally have never been the biggest fan of Redbull and I’m glad so many people are excited about the switch, so it’s pretty bittersweet since the old energy still has my heart. The Iceberry infusion is made with its limited-time Winter Berry Redbull can, Vanilla, Cold foam, and blue sprinkles. Although it’s not new, adding cold foam to an infusion has got to be a staple to the Christmas menu!
“Jolly Gum Drop Smoothie”
- The Presentation of this drink is so cute! Personally, I was not a big cherry fan at first. However, that changed, and it is now a huge hit for me. The Drink is made with Tart Cherry Syrup and a low-fat smoothie base. It is a pink smoothie with Whipped Cream and little gumdrops, and it is definitely a statement to the Candy Land-themed Christmas menu.
Overall, I think Scooter’s Holiday-themed drinks were a very exciting route to take, and I think a lot of people liked it. I personally think that the Candy Land theme furthermore added to the creativity of the holiday and something new that other coffee shops haven’t done before. The holiday campaign lasts until the end of December so go out and get them while they are still there!
