As seniors are going through their final year, and as freshmen are coming in for their first year, learning how to navigate the ways of MHS can be overwhelming and confusing, so as a gift from seniors to underclassmen, here is some advice given from the senior class of 2026.
Advice given by Lauren Hessling, “Don’t procrastinate, your grades matter. Be the bigger person and let things go. It’s never that serious.”
Advice given by Mya McFate, “Get involved. Your attitude matters. Don’t take class time for granted; stay engaged. You are here for four years; make new friends, take risks, be yourself, and have fun!”
Advice given by Lexi Strenberg, “If there is anything I regret from my high school years, it is not being involved with school activities, whether it be from clubs and sports, to going to games to support our muskies. Don’t take your High School experience for granted, BE INVOLVED!! Go skies!!!”
Advice given by Julianna Salinas-Lloyd, “Talk to everyone but keep your circle small, friends will come and go. Stay on top of your school work and turn it in on time! Be yourself, be unique, be a good friend.”
Advice given by Kai Kailn, “Pay attention in class and don’t worry too much about others.”
Advice given by our 2025 homecoming queen, McKenna Schumaker, “GET INVOLVED! These are the fastest 4 years of your life, so enjoy it and participate!!! Also have a positive attitude, if you wake up with a negative attitude, not only does it ruin your day but the days of those around you.”
