Yarely Gaytan is a senior at MHS and is serving as our opinion editor and social media manager for the newspaper. This is her first year being part of the staff, and she’s excited to bring her creativity and voice to the team. Outside of school, she youth leads and serves in the media team at her church, where she finds joy in helping others grow in their faith. People would describe Yarely as creative, passionate, and full of purpose. A unique fact about her is that she loves to write and, when she finds a spare moment, enjoys a good nap. After high school, Yarely plans to pursue ministry while also continuing to grow her love for writing and helping others. She looks forward to an impactful and memorable school year.
