Stella DeLong, Feature Section Editor

People use their clothes to show a little insight to who they are. In our school we have so many people who have a passion for fashion. Each one having a unique and cool style. Jaela Staker is currently a junior, who has always used fashion as a way to express herself. Take a little look into how she styles herself and some of her favorites.

How would you describe your style?

Cool grandma core.

What is one piece of clothing you couldn’t live without?

I couldn’t live without sweaters! They are so comfortable, warm and look cool

What is your favorite accessory?

I love how rings look but necklaces are my favorite because they are the easiest to wear.

What is your favorite color to wear?

I don’t have a preference for what colors I wear because I love anything, but green has always been a favorite for me

Do you have somebody who is your inspiration for your style?

My older sister and I have a very similar style so I use her for inspiration for a lot of what I wear. I steal her clothes all of the time.

What decade do you think your style fits in the best?

I wear a variety of clothes but if I had to pin a decade it would probably be the 90s.

Describe your process for getting ready in the morning.

I always pick my outfit out before I go to sleep because I never have time in the morning. Not much goes into picking it out, I just wear what I feel is right for that day.

What is your favorite place to shop?

I go to a lot of different thrift stores, Tj-max, and my sister’s closet of course.
