So, who is the actual best Spider-Man?
Tobey Maguire, the OG Spider-Man. Tobey Maguire is often a favorite among Spider-Man lovers simply because he was the first: He had the awkward, quirky vibe that lined up with the Peter Parker character. Most of all, his version of Spider-Man is usually seen as the most comic-accurate.
Kaiden Strause, Sophomore, shared, “Tobey is just the best option here. He’s the original, so when you think of Spider-Man, you think of his adaptation. The acting isn’t the best, but that’s what makes the movies so good, they’re quirky and fun.”
Andrew Garfield, who many believe is the most attractive, is people’s favorite simply based on his looks as Peter Parker. Beyond his appearance, Andrew’s Spider-Man movies expressed much more emotion than others. His acting is often seen as the strongest among them all.
“Andrew is the happy medium of all the Spider-Men. He isn’t quite the original, but he’s way funnier and less modern than Tom Holland. So he has the mixture of originality and modernization, paired with good acting. He’s just the best,” Elise Christy, sophomore, stated.

n, has movies incorporated into the Marvel universe. This gives him somewhat of an advantage since Spider-Man has been an independent superhero until the combined movie, No Way Home. Tom has the most youthful look to him, which directly aligns with the Peter Parker character.
MHS Sophomore, Shayla Schmidt, stated, “His movies are just the best. He’s in the Marvel movies, so that’s already awesome, but his movies are just so much better than the other adaptations. He captures the Spider-Man look and feeling so well.”
