IT: Welcome to Derry, Season 1:
Serving as a prequel to the films IT and IT Chapter 2, IT: Welcome to Derry is said to bring the same horror aspect that the films shared. With a whole new plot, many new actors were cast, along with some recurring cast members, like the beloved Pennywise. Set in 1962, this TV series is said to show the twisted past of Pennywise and how he grew to be himself. The first episode premieres on October 26th on HBO, with seven additional episodes scheduled for release on later dates.
Stranger Things, Season 5:
Being one of the most popular shows of recent years, many fans around the world have been following the never-ending story of Stranger Things. Well, that never-ending story is officially coming to an end. In this final season, the main group will make their final attempt to defeat Vecna and save Hawkins. After the previous season, Hawkins has been under military lockdown, causing the hero Eleven to be put into hiding. With Eleven in hiding, will they defeat Vecna? Tune into the first volume of the upcoming season on November 26th on Netflix, followed by volume two on December 25th, and the finale on December 31st.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Season 2:
As the first season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians was based on the first book of the series, the second season is based on the second book, The Sea of Monsters. Following the theme of the books and the previous season, Percy is said to be set on yet another quest. This season will be set only a year later than the first, with Percy returned to Camp Half Blood after his adventures in the previous season. He will embark on his mission to find the Golden Fleece and save Camp Half-Blood. This season will be streaming on Disney+ on December 10th.
Emily in Paris, Season 5:
Unlike previous seasons, Emily in Paris season 5 will not only be set in Paris. This season balances Paris, where the show is set, and now Italy, where the previous season led her to be. Not much information has been released for this new season, but we can assume it will be much different than the rest, judging from her new roots in Italy. Tune into Emily’s adventures in both Paris AND Italy on December 18th on Netflix.

Regretting You:
Based on Colleen Hoover’s novel, Regretting You, this movie has a complicated plot. A story that is both drama-filled and depressing, with deaths and new relationships, makes for a very interesting watch. Actors like Dave Franco, Mckenna Grace, and Mason Thames will bring this intriguing story to life in theaters on October 24th.
Wicked: For Good:
Wicked: For Good, the sequel to the very popular Wicked, is based on the second act of the stage musical, Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz. This movie’s plot picks up right where it left off in the last movie and is said to follow Elphaba and Glinda through their journey, embracing their new identities in Oz. This film will premiere in theaters on November 21st.
Zootopia 2:
A sequel to the Zootopia movie from 2016, Zootopia 2 follows Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde on their journey as partners on another police case on a new mysterious individual. With new characters and a new mission involving the reptile community, this movie is said to be just as good, if not better than the first. Zootopia 2 will begin showing in theaters on November 26th.
FNAF 2:
After 28 games in the FNAF universe, there was finally a movie adaptation created in 2023. Two years later, the second movie adaptation is finally being released. A horror film involving animatronics that give off that eerie feeling, but still have that nostalgic feeling for those who were into the games. Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the movie adaptation of the second Five Nights at Freddy’s game, is now finally being released as a sequel to the previous movie. It premieres on December 5th in theaters.
