As the Christmas season officially begins, your favorite drink places are releasing their holiday menus. I have taken it upon myself to review these drinks to evaluate which ones are worth your money and which ones taste like straight garbage. One drink per place was chosen for this review.
Starbucks:
Eggnog Latte – 6/10
I have never actually tried eggnog before, but this wasn’t too bad. I’m not really used to the taste, so it wasn’t amazing for me, but it was still pretty good.
Dunkin:
Toasted White Chocolate Latte – 4/10
Good drink overall, but it tastes nothing like toasted white chocolate. It just tastes like a caramel latte without enough caramel. So, therefore, not a very good score considering it doesn’t taste like the name suggests it would.
Scooters:
Iced Candy Cane Forest Mocha – 8/10
I really liked this drink. I was worried it wouldn’t taste like candy canes, but it does, and not too much to the point where it tastes like toothpaste. It wasn’t the best thing ever, but it definitely lives up to the name and has great flavor overall.
The Coffee Belt:
Spiced Sugar Cookie Chai Tea Latte – 7/10
I liked this drink, but it’s SUPER sweet. If you don’t like sweet drinks, do not get this. The flavor was super good and tasted exactly like a sugar cookie, though. I didn’t really taste like chai, unfortunately, but it was pretty good.
Black Pearl:
Gingerbread Latte – 4/10
I don’t know how to feel about this one. It didn’t quite taste like gingerbread, just straight ginger. It wasn’t horrible, just very strong, and personally, I don’t like the taste of ginger mixed with coffee.
Big Cats:
Grinch – 8/10
This drink is SO sour, like straight sour candy. It definitely fits the Grinch theme, but wow, you won’t like this if you don’t like sour. Personally, I love sour, so this was great for me! It’s still a good option for non-coffee drinkers, but consider watering it down if you’re not obsessed with the strong flavor.
Peak Energy:
Snowfall – 9/10
I might be biased on this one because I love energy drinks, but this one was so good. The flavors of blue raspberry, blackberry, and vanilla go so well together, and it’s just delicious. Definitely a great option if you don’t like coffee.
Have you tried any of these holiday drinks yet? If not, make sure to consider doing so. Hopefully, my review will help you decide which option would be the best for you!
