The soon-to-be SpongeBob movie, “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants,” is coming out on December 19th. To promote the movie, they introduced a meal at Burger King. Which, funny enough, last year, on October 8th, 2024, they collabed with SpongeBob on a Krabby Patty meal with the pineapple frosty. This year, they cranked up the hype and came out with an iconic, eye-catching combo. Now, lettuce see where this bite takes us under the sea.
1. SpongeBob Krabby Whopper
This huge Whopper had a square, yellow bun packed with the melty goodness of American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, mayo, ketchup, and of course, the beef patty. I could not finish this entire master piece of a burger, but it tasted just like a plain, regular Whopper, nothing special other than it being based on my favourite under-the-sea sponge.
2. Mr Krabs’ Cheesy Bacon Tots
Crispy round tots are loaded with creamy cheese, bacon bits, and airy potatoes. These tasted just like the ones from Casey’s and hit too hard. Many consumers had different opinions about these; some said that they weren’t anything special and were boring. I beg to differ; my one wish is that they were bigger. They got robbed of flavour for not being big enough to taste every ingredient. These were definitely worth the money.
3. Patrick’s Star-berry Shortcake
Strawberry and vanilla buttery layers with crisp cookie crumb crust and shortcake crumbles. Patrick shaped sprinkles to top this gooey pastry. This was the best item from this meal. This pie was more than delicious and was worth all of my money. It was a quick munch, but my taste buds thanked me. There isn’t too much to judge, so if you like a sweet treat, you will love this.
4. Pirate’s Frozen Pineapple Float
Last, but certainly not least, this frozen slush with paradise, beachy cold foam. I had no complaints; the cold foam was like no other. It was like I took a drink out of SpongeBob’s house. If you like pineapple, you are destined for this drink.
