Rom Coms
AKA Romantic Comedies, are a widely loved genre. They introduce a funny and lighthearted tone to sometimes awkward romantic situations.

Teen Beach Movie
Follow the adventures of Mack and Brady as they magically enter a movie and spend their time trying to get out. This movie is filled with lots of fun music numbers and a cute love story. You can watch this movie on Disney+.

Anyone But You
This newly released movie highlights an enemies-to-lovers trope, with a lot of ups and downs throughout. Watch this movie in theaters or on Max!

My Personal Favorite – Reality Television
Sometimes too real, occasionally too scripted, Reality TV, allows the watcher to delve into drama and angered voices of the characters.

Jersey Shore
This show follows a group of twenty-year-olds partying and living under the same roof. There is a LOT of drama between the housemates, which makes the show all the more entertaining. Binge the series on Hulu.

Dance Moms

Even though this show is about little girls dancing, the moms get really dramatic. The dynamic between the dancers, moms, and the dance teacher come together to create a wildly entertaining combination. You can watch Dance Moms on Peacock or Disney+.

Cooking Shows
Angry Chefs, stressful time limits, and restricting ingredients allow for a very entertaining show.

Rotten Tomatoes

Holiday Baking Championship
Obviously holiday-themed, this show features a variety of bakers who compete to become the best. Through dry desserts and demeaning disqualifications, the judges keep the audience on their toes with their decisions. Catch up on Food Network!

Guy’s Grocery Games

Guy Fieri hosts this show which brings in qualified chefs from all over the country to compete by making ridiculous requirements. The high-paced energy of this show makes the audience feel like they are competing alongside the chefs. Watch these competitions on Max, or Food Network.

True Crime Documentaries
Although these are traditionally gory and uncomfortable, many people seem to love them. Usually just because they are interesting, and the suspense is always intense.

Conversations With a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes
This documentary follows the actions and victims of the serial killer Ted Bundy and showcases the testimonies of his actions.

Conversation With a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes

Relatively similar to the previous show, this documentary shares the testimony of John Wayne Gacy, a killer clown.
Both of these documentaries can be found on Netflix!

Childhood Classics
It is important to reconnect with childlike happiness by watching what you loved as a kid. The nostalgia is always enjoyable, especially when you reconnect with your favorite character.

The Princess and the Frog
This movie follows Tiana and her adventures toward achieving her dream. She makes friends with animals along the way and ends up marrying a prince.

Even though this movie was released within the past few years, the movie was loved by people of all ages. It follows the story of two young boys who form a strong bond as they live in Italy.
Each of these childhood classics can be found on Disney+.
