Once you get home from a long day of school, you want to relax. You sit down on the couch and turn on the TV. First, you scroll through Netflix, then Hulu, and then finally Disney+. Trying to find something to watch isn’t always easy. There are certain shows and movies that are more “embarrassing” to watch, but everybody has their guilty pleasure.

With millions of shows and movies across hundreds of streaming platforms, there are many options for a new favorite. Here are some recommendations for your next guilty pleasure.

Rom Coms
AKA Romantic Comedies, are a widely loved genre. They introduce a funny and lighthearted tone to sometimes awkward romantic situations.

Follow the adventures of Mack and Brady as they magically enter a movie and spend their time trying to get out. This movie is filled with lots of fun music numbers and a cute love story. You can watch this movie on Disney+.

My Personal Favorite – Reality Television
Sometimes too real, occasionally too scripted, Reality TV, allows the watcher to delve into drama and angered voices of the characters.

Even though this show is about little girls dancing, the moms get really dramatic. The dynamic between the dancers, moms, and the dance teacher come together to create a wildly entertaining combination. You can watch Dance Moms on Peacock or Disney+.

Angry Chefs, stressful time limits, and restricting ingredients allow for a very entertaining show.

Obviously holiday-themed, this show features a variety of bakers who compete to become the best. Through dry desserts and demeaning disqualifications, the judges keep the audience on their toes with their decisions. Catch up on Food Network!

Although these are traditionally gory and uncomfortable, many people seem to love them. Usually just because they are interesting, and the suspense is always intense.
