Valentines Day Gift Guide

Valentine’s Day is coming up, and deciding what gift to give your special someone can be tricky. Here are some budget-friendly ideas for your significant other or Galentine!

DIY Gifts

What better way to be romantic than to get creative and put in some effort?

1. Scrapbook: Print out some pictures and get to gluing, a simple 5-page book with pictures of your favorite memories is a great way to commemorate those times together.

2. CD/Vinyl/playlist: This one is for music lovers. Websites can be used to create custom vinyls and CDs. Create a tracklist of “your songs” or simply just some songs that remind you of them. The same goes for a playlist, simple and free on any music platform. Creating a cover for these is another chance to get creative!

3. Candy bouquet: Candy bouquets are simple and easy to create. Tip: Dollar Tree Candy is where you’ll probably get the best bang for your buck 😉 Here is a step-by-step on how to put these together LINK

4. 52 cards: Turn a deck of cards into a deck of reasons why you appreciate your person. Simply write on each card and assemble them with key rings or string.

Gift Basket

Baskets can include anything and everything, here’s some items that you can’t go wrong with:

1. Letter/Card: A handwritten note can brighten anyone’s day coming from someone they love. Include things you love about them or anything else you want to express!

2. Candy: Who doesn’t love a sweet treat? Include their favorite candy or dessert!

3. Something cozy: A nice candle, some fluffy socks, a soft blanket, keep them warm during this cold weather!

4. Stuffed animal

5. Anything related to their interests; make it personal to them 🙂

6. FLOWERS!!

Activities

Material gifts might not be for everyone, but here are some activities for those who love some quality time with their loved ones

1. Painting sesh: Grab some canvases and paint from Walmart and get creative!

2.Lego Building: A bit more on the pricey side but well worth it! However, there are some cheaper Lego options out there too!

Baking: SO many options! Cookies, cake, bread, brownies, cupcakes. My favorite recipes are from Broma Bakery!!

Restaurant/movies: Place a reservation for your guys’ favorite place to eat, or buy some tickets for an upcoming movie you’ve been waiting to see, can’t go wrong with a good meal and some popcorn 🙂

Hopefully, you now have a better idea of what you can gift your valentine this year. Remember that there are many ways to show your appreciation to someone and it doesn’t necessarily mean it needs to be expensive! ♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎
