Instead of using a lot of powder products, invest in cream and liquid products. When using cream and liquid products it makes your base appear more glowy.

Elf carries liquid contour and blush wands. The brand NYX has a product called Wonder Stick, which is a dual cream contour and highlighter. It works great and comes in a variety of shades. NYX also just released a new primer with SPF in it!
A common step that is usually forgotten is sunscreen. It is very important that you apply sunscreen when going out in the summer. However, some leave a white cast and oily feeling on the face that makes it hard to work with makeup. Cerave (a skincare brand) sells a lightweight moisturizer with SPF 30. After moisturizing, you should apply a primer with SPF.

As I mentioned earlier NYX released a blurring primer with SPF 30 in it. So far it has great reviews. Milaini also carries the same product. And we know of course Elf always has everything along with a glow primer with SPF 30 in it as well. Although this next primer doesn’t have SPF it works great if you’re a sweaty gal. Let’s look at some mascaras now. Everybody knows the viral Telescopic Mascara but did you know they also have a waterproof version? It makes your lashes super long and doesn’t smudge. The brand Essence is known for their amazing cheap mascaras. With only costing five dollars they work very well and have a variety.
If you don’t want to wear makeup but still want to look flawless use Aquaphor! You can use it for more than your lips for a glowy appearance.
Lastly, when wearing makeup, especially in the summer you’re going to need a strong setting spray. One Size’s On Till Dawn setting spray works miracles. It holds so well you don’t have to worry about sweating your makeup off. Milani’s Make it Last spray is a great alternative if you don’t want to spend 18 dollars.
